European Hostel is centrally located in the South of Market (SOMA) area between Downtown and the Central Transportation of B.A.R.T. (Subway) Greyhound, and Amtrack Stations. We are walking distance to the Bus, Train and direct BART run to the airport. This means you can arrive here from the airport for 1/2 the cost of a shuttle. Close by to major attractions and public transportation. Within walking distance to Cable Cars, Union Square, City Hall, Convention Center, San Francisco Visitor's Bureau and Chinatown. To avoid a one night penalty, all modifications and cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to arrival date by 1pm. Please contact the hostel directly via email as provided in your confirmation Please have $10 cash at arrival as a security deposit. Deposits are refunded at a timely check-out with key in hand. $50 minimum charge for all credit card transactions. No refunds on early check-outs. Our low rates do not include a linen fee, please be aware. The local city tax of San Francisco is also not included here, but due at check in. **** $3 linen fee**** Males over the age of 30 can not book a dorm bed. All dorm guests must prove travel itenerary. An international passport or out of state student ID is required along with a travel itinery to rent dorm rooms. Private rooms can be rented by any adult, with proper ID. There is a 21 day stay limit.
